Every year I like to compile a holiday gift guide with some of my favorite fitness, food, and self-care related recommendations for an active friend or family member in your life. Or, perhaps you decide to put some of these items on your own holiday wish list this season? Enjoy!

52 lists for happiness journal – This is a cute gift to mix in with a self care theme. The journal is perfect for those who love making lists and/or aren’t sure how to start with a regular journaling habit.

Barbell box – I haven’t tried this out myself, but I think this is a really fun sounding monthly subscription service! A little fitness related surprise to my door every month? I’ll take it!

Bose wireless headphones – I have the teal Soundsport ones. I like them because they aren’t too bulky, they stay in my ears without falling out, and because teal is my favorite of course. I use these all the time for playlists during my workouts and to listen to podcasts while walking.

Circle bands
– My absolute favorite workout band is my  hip circle, I am obsessed with mine! It takes glute activation up a notch for exercises like squats and hip thrusts when I don’t have access to my usual weights. I also love that the fabric makes it so the band doesn’t bunch or roll up on your legs. If you aren’t ready for such a heavy duty one, I also love these minibands. The variety pack is key so you can interchange them for upper and lower body exercises or double up if needed. Either would be perfect to gift with my Fit On the Go + Lift On the Go program (listed below!), as many of the workouts use bands.

Empowered Together Coaching Club membership – this is my online group coaching membership. Every month, the women in this tight knit and supportive community receive new workouts, new recipes, and a new challenge/theme focus every single month. They also have access to me for coaching on a daily basis, and I often bring in guest speakers to do guest talks on various wellness topics. I’m currently running some holiday specials where you can gift a one month, three month, or six month membership at a discounted rate! Email me at info@achievewithathena for more details.

Fit On the Go + Lift On the Go – this is my signature anytime, anywhere workout program designed for time-strapped people of any fitness level. The bundle includes 100+ minimal time and minimal equipment workouts that me and my clients swear by to stay consistent when we can’t get our usual workouts in! You can purchase each separately or buy together as a bundle and save.

Foodie theme pack – for a foodie in your life, consider putting together a little theme present based around a certain cuisine, flavor, location, type of food, meal, etc. For example, for a friend who loves Mexican food, get a taco cookbook, an avocado scooper, maybe some margarita ingredients? You could do a pre-workout theme with the ingredients for energy balls or a post-workout theme with a smoothie cookbook and a blender. I love my Ninja! It comes with portable cups and a bigger bowl option.

Fre skincare – I recently became a Fre skincare ambassador after trying out the 123 FRE set: a facial cleanser, serum, and SPF moisturizer. These products are specifically designed for active women and formulated for skin that sweats, as well as the rest of their skincare line from eye cream to body cleanser to dry oil and more. I love the products because they don’t leave my skin feeling greasy like a lot of other skincare products do. Also, every FRE product is 100% vegan, cruelty free, and PETA certified. For every set sold, the company plants an Argan tree in Morocco to empower the women who harvest the Argan oil used in the products. My ambassador code is ATHENA15! Highly recommend, I am really enjoying my no fuss skincare routine every morning!

Legit Fit Bundle – this is my signature do it yourself program that encompasses an 8 week training program, a meal prep makeover kit, and a self care component through my healthy habits helper, all wrapped up in one pretty package! You basically get everything you need to make small lifestyle tweaks that get you healthier and allow your busy life to feel a whole lot easier.

Local fitness classes – if you have a friend or family member who loves taking group classes or trains at a local studio, consider gifting them class cards or a membership. Consider checking out the packages at FitRev, where I teach part time. I can’t wait to be back to teaching after my maternity leave! I am also really excited that Everybody Fights is opening a new location on the Northshore!

Love + Be apparel – this brand is owned by a local female business owner, and they have the cutest t-shirts! I learned about Love + Be when I won some apparel via an Instagram giveaway, and then I teamed up with them recently to offer a giveaway of my own. The love bee is the company’s logo and symbol that represents their brand of feel good and meaningful clothes + accessories.

Lululemon Align pants – these are probably some of the most comfortable and lightweight workout leggings out there. Seriously buttery soft. Bonus about these is that they will stretch through your pregnancy and also work for postpartum comfort – for any expecting mommas out there!

New Balance Fresh Foam cross trainers – the NB Fresh Foam line is hands down my favorite workout sneaker out there. I have several pairs and recently added another Fresh Foam Zante trainer to my collection. It’s super lightweight, yet still supportive and cushioning.

New Balance Heat Loft jacket – This winter I’ve been sporting the Sport Style Select HEAT LOFT Quarter Zip. My postpartum self is loving the oversized fit and stretchy material! The hood and side panels are insulated for premium warmth too, making it a great fit for heading to and from the gym during cold months.

Nobull apparel Nobull is a brand that I was introduced to earlier in 2019 when teaching my Seaport Sweat classes in the Boston Seaport. Nobull’s pop up shop was right near our classes, and I ended up collaborating with them for the Soul Sista Summit too. Their crop tights grew with my pregnant belly up until about 7-8 months! Right now I’m digging these women’s black trainers and the women’s joggers.

Personal development/mindset books – anything by Brene Brown is WONDERFUL, Mel Robbins 5 Second Rule is a game changer when it comes to taking action, You Are A Badass, The 4 Hour Workweek, Atomic Habits, so many to choose from!

Sukeban Creative custom gift box – Sukeban Creative is a brand dedicated to creating meaningful, customized gift boxes for all sorts of occasions – corporate, weddings, baby, holiday, just thinking of you, etc. The owner Steph is another local female business owner, and what I love about Steph’s mission is that she really takes the time to pick out special items for the recipient of each gift box, and she saves YOU so much time! Mails it out herself, saving you the dreaded trip to UPS that gets procrastinated over and over (anyone else?). Take a look through her really nice collections to get a feel for what her custom gift boxes are all about.

Water bottle – Tim and I recently bought these 26 ounce bottles from RTIC, and I definitely notice myself staying more hydrated throughout the day using it. My water stays colder for way longer than my old water bottle too.

That’s it! I hope this list helps to inspire some of your holiday shopping this year!
