I’m back as a married woman, a WIFE.

I have a husband.

And I must say, it feels pretty nice.

Simply put, our wedding weekend was amazing. We had perfect late summer/beginning of fall weather, and Tim and I feel so appreciative of our wonderful friends and family who traveled to be with us in New Hampshire for our special day. I had so much fun with my mom, maid of honor, and bridesmaids throughout the weekend: getting our nails done, going out for lunch, and getting ready the morning of the wedding. Our rehearsal dinner was really nice and a great way for our families to mingle a bit and get even more excited before the big day. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful: full of Greek tradition, meaning, and family helping officiate. The reception venue was perfect: simple but elegant with a rustic charm, delicious food, and the most accommodating and helpful staff in the world. It seriously was everything we wanted in a venue, and our vendors were all on point too. The entire wedding day itself went off without a hitch, and the stress and craziness of planning just kind of faded away. Tim and I are still processing how much time, money, and planning went into that one day, and we can’t believe just how fast the day’s events flew by. Everyone warned us it would, but we still can’t believe it. We wanted so much more time to dance and talk with everyone, but we had an absolute blast and are so grateful our day was filled with so much fun and love.

After our wedding, we took off to Aruba for ten days of some much needed rest, relaxation, and time together. It took me at least three or four full days to finally feel fully relaxed and like myself again. I am beyond relieved to have my brain and sanity back, and Tim might be even more relieved about that than I am! We had the best time on our honeymoon, and I can’t wait to recap our Aruba adventures, eats, and more for you guys. I’ll do some more post wedding reflections as well.

Aruba Honeymoon

We got home on Friday and used the weekend to settle in. We cleaned up our post wedding apartment aftermath, and we opened all our wedding presents finally. We saw my parents to recap the wedding and show them all our honeymoon pictures. We went to the gym and went grocery shopping and food prepped. We ordered pizza. We had some wine and snuggled on the couch. We had our friends’ daughter’s first birthday party. I can’t even begin to explain just how good it feels to have this normalcy back in our lives.
