Last week I posted a picture of the “Christmas Punch” that Tim and I served at the holiday gathering we held last weekend for our circle of work friends. This cocktail was actually inspired by my friend Shannon, who introduced it to me when she served it as the signature drink at last year’s 12th annual holiday party for the home gang.
I definitely had one too many of these drinks (they are soooo good) at the party last year. Let’s just say Allison and I were the last ones to leave Shannon’s last year because we couldn’t stop giggling. I mean, Allison thought that the toilet played Christmas music every time it flushed, but I think it was actually the soap dispenser that was playing music? Enough said.
Because that’s the kind of drink this is, I limited myself to just two big glasses solo cups this year. Gotta keep it classy, folks.

I don’t have exact portions for you, it really is more about adding the ingredients and tasting as you go until it tickles your fancy. I always try to go for the light or diet versions of the juice (less sugar), as if that helps negate the “empty” calories in the booze. It doesn’t, but I guess every bit helps right? Oy.
If you are hosting any holiday parties this year and looking for a festive drink to serve, this is a great choice and a crowd pleaser. You could always make a non-alcoholic version too. Shannon, will this be making another appearance this year?
What’s your go to holiday drink of choice?
Now that I’ve enlightened you with an alcoholic bevvie on a Sunday morning, I’m off to teach 20/20/20 and then head to my uncle’s for a family party the rest of the day. Hope everyone’s weekend winds down nicely!
I love fruity drinks! This sounds like the perfect mix of Christmas and sweetness in a glass 🙂
So glad that you loved this drink! This drink will not be making an appearance this year but I think that you will enjoy the merry margaritas that I am planning. I did a test run last night and could feel it after one drink.
