Happy Friday, everyone!  I’m working from home today, yay.

When did this fall feeling get here?  Yesterday went from a humid morning to a chilly, fall-like night in a matter of no time.  And this morning was a brisk, chilly one!  My toes did not appreciate the flip flops I wore home from Tim’s.

You know what this feels like?  Scarf season!

I decided that this morning would be perfect for a delicious, warm breakfast.  So I made myself a heaping bowl of oatmeal.  I splurged and used two packets.

On it?  Sliced bananas, blueberries, dried cranberries, and a big spoonful of almond butter.  So good.  My meal didn’t look as pretty when I stirred it all together.  But it tasted great!

Usually when I work from home I like to go to yoga at lunch, but today I had an appointment so I didn’t make it to class.  Also since I woke up before 6am every day this week, I decided to sleep in instead of go to an early class.  I am either going to workout after my workday is done or have today be a rest day instead of Saturday like usual and go tomorrow morning.

My lunch today was pretty awesome too.  I love a good veggie sandwich.  First I toasted two slices of wheat bread.  I spread each slice with hummus instead of mayo and then added avocado.  I was really craving avocado today!

Then I added cucumber slices and some alfalfa sprouts:

Some tomato and mozzarella cheese:

And finally, a little drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar for the finished product:

With some green grapes on the side, it was a perfect lunch!

Back to work for the rest of the afternoon.  Tonight I am meeting up with Allison and Tracy for a wine and cheese night.  Should be fun and make for a great blog post tomorrow morning. 🙂
