Hey guys. It’s definitely been a weird week.
The ups: Booking our wedding venue, having all kick ass workouts this week, and seeing my girlfriends on Wednesday night for dinner and drinks.
The downs: Tim being away for work all week and then getting into a car accident when he got home yesterday. He’s okay, and so was everyone else involved, but it’s going to be a stressful couple of weeks with only one car and needing to shop for a new one. It’s not like we’re swimming in extra money after the ring purchase and putting our down payment on the wedding venue either. Eeek. We will get through it! I’m just glad Tim wasn’t hurt. It could have been a lot worse.

What were your ups and downs from the week? What’s up for the weekend? Do you have any link love to share?
Today I’m attending a conference in Newton hosted by the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts, and I’m hoping to leave with a few nuggets. I’ve felt pretty discouraged with the wellness program at work lately, so I’m looking forward to networking with others and getting some tips on how to increase program participation. Tomorrow morning, I’m meeting my gym friend Liz for a free fitness class in the morning, and Sunday Tim and I are meeting with the priest for our wedding, but that’s about all I have planned. We’ll see where the rest of the weekend takes us!
I found another way we can spend time together…CAR SHOPPING…which is what Ben and I are doing (also under emergency circumstances) after our workout Sat morning!
2 things. Thank gosh Tim is okay. Amazing recipes this week. Thank you!
Glad to hear Tim was ok! Car accidents are really scary. I was rear ended once and saw him coming (yet couldn’t do anything). This was a few years ago and I am still scared when I look in the rear view mirror and a car doesn’t look like it’s stopping. Enjoy your weekend!
This is an interesting array of links–I now have half of them opened up in my browser. Thank you!
Athena,
I hope you are both alright after the accident. I was upset to read that in your blog. Take care,
Love,
Auntie Tina
Sorry that Tim was in an accident and that the car is out of commission for a bit but super glad that he is OK!!
My up this week will be later this afternoon when Chris gets home from his week away!!!
yikes- how scary!! at least he’s ok! Also- I had bought Gina’s e-book, too! Can’t wait to read it. And, because of this post, I also bought the 3X3X3 book. once my bootcamp is over, i’m going to do the program. can’t wait!
Awesome! I’m going to do the 3x3x3 after my Girls Gone Strong program is over.
