Happy Wednesday, readers!  I can’t believe we’re already almost halfway through September.  This year is just flying by.

Today I feel like sharing some of my latest favorite things.  Enjoy 🙂

Teaching Kix

Last night was my Kix teaching debut at the Oak Square Y.  I subbed for Liz’s class while she was in Florida at the National Fitness & Training Center representing CBC and doing a professional video shoot.  I wish I could have gone!  But anyways, I was happy with how class went.  I remembered all the routines, although I need to perfect my transitions during “Let’s Groove Tonight.”  Had a couple awkward ones.  But anyways, really happy with how class went and loved every second of it! AND (knock on wood) my shoulder feels okay today.  Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Grocery Shopping in the Morning

This morning I was up early and couldn’t fall back asleep so I went to the bank and the grocery store before work.  Since they were literally unlocking the doors as I was walking in, there was maybe one other person in the store.  I loved how quiet it was and getting my shopping done so fast without having to bump into anyone or get frustrated with people walking slow and leaving their carriages in the middle of the aisle.  I think I might try and get my grocery shopping done in the morning more often!

Today’s much needed grocery list:

My Body Wash

I’m almost out of my new favorite body wash!  If you haven’t tried Caress brand exfoliating products, you have to.  Especially the Tahitian Renewal scent.  This one “blends the exotic fragrance of pomegranate seeds and Tahitian palm milk with triple silkening moisturizers for ravishing, renewed skin.”  It just smells SO good and makes my showers so much better.

I can’t wait to stock up later.

Mango Flavored Chobani

I’m not sure if this is a new Chobani flavor, but it is unreal.  I first tried it when I grabbed one by accident when I was rushing around Logan Airport before my Arkansas trip last month.  At first I was bummed because it’s one of the 2% flavors and I usually get the 0% kind since they are non-fat.  But I quickly changed my mind when I realized how delicious it was.  Now when I buy Chobani’s I get mostly non-fat ones and then one or two mango flavors a week.  I brought one for lunch today.  Love love love.

The Stick

You might be chuckling to yourself and wondering what “The Stick” is, but I kid you not, it is life changing.  “The Stick is a revolutionary device used to segmentally compress and stretch muscle. It is highly effective in the treatment of muscle pain and trigger points.”

I got one of these at CitySports back in the day because having low arches + doing a lot of HIIT training = very tight calves and sore feet, all the time.  I was impressed then, and it has been working wonders now on my shoulders/arms since my shoulder started bothering me a couple weeks ago.  I mean, this thing is great even when you aren’t sore, so imagine the level of relief it brings when you are.  I definitely prefer this product over a foam roller.  Recommended!

I’m thinking about making this a monthly post, where I write about five things/products/activities/etc that, well, I’ve just been loving lately.  Question of the Day – what do you think about this idea?!

Have a great day!
