Move to Help is a virtual workout series hosted by Athena Concannon, certified personal trainer, nutrition and lifestyle transformation coach, and owner and founder of Achieve with Athena.

Move to Help began in March 2020, with the goal of providing the Achieve with Athena community with virtual workouts to do from a home setting while many gyms, studios, and workout facilities were shut down due to the health implications of the Coronavirus.

In doing so, Move to Help class attendees were not only able to come together and keep their personal wellness a top priority during an incredibly stressful time, but give back to the community in doing so, as a portion of proceeds were donated to Frontline Foods Boston to support both local restaurant owners whose businesses were suffering and the front line workers serving our communities.

And now, Move to Help is becoming a charitable giving cornerstone of the Achieve with Athena community.

Together, through Athena’s virtual group fitness classes, we move our bodies and boost our endorphins, all while supporting meaningful causes and communities in need.

Athena Concannon LLC is committed to supporting anti-racism. 50% of Move to Help profits made in June will be donated to the NAACP.

Classes are held on a pay what you can basis to accomodate differing financial circumstances. If you can pay $1, awesome. $5, $10, $15, $20? Great. If you can pay what you’d pay for a drop in class at your favorite gym, awesome. If you can spare a little extra to support a good cause, great. Everyone is welcomed + appreciated.

Athena’s LIVE workouts have allowed me to connect with others and not have to think about what workout to do. I know that if I just show up and get moving, I will walk away with an awesome workout completed and a few minutes of sanity.   • The workouts will be held in a private Zoom meeting room. You will be able to share your video if you want, to make it as much of an “in person” vibe as possible.
  • If you cannot make the sessions LIVE, a recording will be sent out after the fact, so you can still have on demand access to the workout.
  • Each workout will be home friendly, require minimal equipment, and take around 30-40 minutes to complete.
  • Options/modifications will be provided during each workout to accomodate all fitness levels.
