Let’s talk about one of my favorite things.
Peanut Butter!
And what better day to talk about peanut butter than on National Peanut Butter Cookie Day???

I just love peanut butter so much. I honestly feel so sorry for anyone with peanut allergies!! (Sorry Auntie Tina). I can’t help but think that if I could only eat one food for the rest of my life that peanut butter would just have to be included somehow. And I actually HATE that question. Why would I ever be restricted to eating just one food for the rest of my life? But anyways, yes. Peanut butter. Love, love, love.
My favorite go to jar of peanut butter?
Teddie, fo sho people.
“Teddie Old Fashioned Peanut Butter, High Protein, Low Carb, No Cholesterol, Naturally! In 16 oz. jars. Available in smooth, super chunky, unsalted, and unsalted super chunky varieties.”
I always go for unsalted to keep my sodium levels down. Usually my Stop & Shop only carries Unsalted Smooth so that’s what I end up with most of the time, but whenever there is an unsalted Chunky I love to get that too!
Anyways, in honor of today’s very important National Holiday, I fully support any peanut-butter-stuffing-face you would like partake in. In case you need any recipe inspiration, I took a look through my recipes page and I do have one very easy tasty and not too bad for you peanut butter cookie recipe there.
To quote my original blog post on these No Bake Peanut Butter Cookies, “All it takes is ten minutes and you have peanut butter deliciousness at your fingertips.”
What’s your favorite kind of nut butter? What’s your favorite kind of peanut butter cookie? Favorite peanut butter based dessert?
I’m off to eat peanut butter straight out of the jar have a snack and then head to the gym!
I had already made my favorite peanut butter cookies without knowing about this holiday! They are oatmeal peanut butter sandwich cookies, recipe courtesy of two peas and their pod. Not healthy but sooo delicious!
I need to try them! They sound delish!
Have you tried PB&Co Peanut Butter? it’s the one with the blue cover and all the funky flavors (mighty maple, white chocolate wonderful, smooth operator, the bees knees). by far the best out there:) my roommate suprised me with a jar of the bees knees yesterday (we get it at the christmas tree shop because it’s $3.5/jar instead of upwards of $6 at the grocery stores!).
Hey! No, I haven’t tried it. I’ve seen it though. I’ll have to give it a whirl. Thanks for the Christmas Tree Shop suggestion 😉
