I finally got around to organizing my pictures from our Portland vacation last night. Now it’s making me really want to either go back or plan my next vacation. I seriously just love it up there!
Some of the snapshots above are from various points in the week that we spent walking around downtown Portland. Included is our lunch at Duckfat, scenes from the seaport area, the Cabot Cheese store, our afternoon of drinks at the Garden Cafe, a live band at Portland Lobster Co., hanging on the deck of DiMillo’s, Gorgeous Gelato, and Novare Res.
The rest of the pictures are from our first beach day of the week at Scarborough Beach State Park. Thank you to my friend Jen for the beach recommendation! I remember it was a little breezy that day, but not too bad, and we spent about five hours just lounging in the sun. I forgot what it was like to just do nothing and sit with my toes in the sand with a great view of the ocean, reading a book, and enjoying a beach brew.
If you haven’t had the chance to do at least one thing for yourself this summer, I hope you will. There’s still a couple of weeks left of summer to savor.
Have a great Wednesday!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I love Maine! What I would do for 5 hours of “free” time where I didn’t feel guilty for not attacking my “to-do” list! Looks like a blast:)
