Hey guys, sorry for the later than usual post today. I’ve had ZERO free time lately. Literally the only “me” time I’m getting lately is when I take a shower. Awesome, right?
Since I apparently can’t remember what I like to do for fun, here’s something fun I’ve seen floating around the bloggity blog world lately. Figured since it’s almost Friday, and it’s SO NICE OUT today, we could all use something fun.
Doesn’t an A-Z Survey about myself just scream fun?
Don’t answer that. Just read, mmkay?
A is for age: 26!
B is for breakfast today: Low-fat cottage cheese with cinnamon and blueberries. I pretty much eat this for breakfast any day I’m in the office. It’s my go to “work breakfast.” Sometimes people give me weird looks for eating it (it does look kinda gross), but you know what? I don’t really care!
C is for what you’re currently craving: More strawberries! I just had some and got a little depressed as I stabbed that last one with my fork. Last bite of anything? WORST.
D is for dinner tonight: Leftover apple topped pork chops and grilled asparagus with feta.
E is for favorite type of exercise: You really expect me to answer this one!? Can I just answer “group fitness classes” so all my bases are covered? I guess my FAVORITE would be circuit/interval training? But UGH my heart just hurt a bit not answering kickboxing for this.
F is for an irrational fear: Bees! Sea creatures touching me in the water? Oh wait, open edges for sure. Maybe mailboxes? Yes, mailboxes. What if there’s a bomb in there? Or even worse, a mailbox up high on an open edge with bees that fly out at you when you open it?!
I’m serious.
G is for gross food: Licorice. EW. No ouzo for this Greek. Or olives. YUCK!
Wait a minute, I am Greek, aren’t I?
H is for hometown: My current hometown is right outside of Bahhhston, but I grew up in Wilmington, MA. Home of 8 Dunkin Donuts and not much else.
I is for something important: Health and well-being. And friends. And family. And Tim, he’s important too.
J is for current favorite jam: Strawberry! But I’m pretty sure this question is meant for me to tell you my favorite song. Current favorite is “Call It What You Want” by Foster the People. It’s only been on all my workout playlists lately.
K is for kids: None now! Maybe some… someday… if I can ever be selfless enough.
L is for current location: Work, on my lunch break. Now you know this post was written ahead of time. Most of them are, you know!
M is for the most recent way you spent money: Feeding the Camry this morning! Whyyyy must gas be so expensive?
N is for something you need: An extra 5 hours in every day. No? Not possible?
O is for occupation: Oh boy! Here we go: Marketing Support for a Medical Software Company / Group Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer / Freelance Writer
P is for pet peeve: People who make that damn smacking sound with their mouths when they chew, slurping, loud chomping, etc. I also HATE the following things:
- When I’m stuck behind slow walkers. MOVE!
- When people circle around the gym parking lot 80 times to find the closest spot (you are AT the gym people!)
- How freaking fast and annoying auctioneers are when they talk (I can’t be in the same room when Storage Wars is on).
- When the toilet seat is left up.
- When I don’t have control of the computer when looking up directions, working on a project, etc. with another person.
- When drawers or cabinets are left wide open.
- Poor spelling and grammar.
Um, yeah, I have a lot of pet peeves…
Q is for a quote:
R is for random fact about you: I went snorkeling for the first time last year. It really took me 25 years of existence to snorkel. Weird, right?
S is for favorite healthy snack: I love carrots or sliced red pepper with hummus!
T is for favorite treat: Chocolate and peanut butter! Or wine?
Hard to choose!
U is for something that makes you unique: I don’t know how to answer this. I’m Greek!
V is for favorite vegetable: Mushrooms, probably!
W is for today’s workout: Taught my 6am class this morning. Did a whole stability ball themed workout that looked something like this:
We used the ball for every single move, which means all our cores were working extra hard, ladies! If you try this on your own and have any questions, let me know.
X is for X-rays you’ve had: Teeth, right wrist when I broke it in 5th grade, right shoulder, and about 1238427 of my feet at various points in my life.
Y is for yesterday’s highlight: Colleen’s genuine surprise at the work bridal shower we threw her. So fun and funny!
Z is for your time zone: Eastern
Ok, your turn! Pick a letter, and leave a comment on this post answering the question.
Off to week 3 of Wellcoaches class!
I got no responses when I posted this, apparently my readers have no likes or interests. Or really read my posts through. Anyhoo, I’d like to comment on Storage Wars.
a) It’s our go-to when there is nothing else on. even if we have seen the episode 4522 times already. which is mostly the case.
b) Storage Wars Texas is by far the most hilarious thing I’ve seen. (I might now have to change that to the new show Duck Dynasty, omg I died with laughter last night) Lesa thinks ALL furniture is nice and Victor is an idiot.
c) I watch to practice MY auctioneer voice. oh the things you do when you’re bored.
H is for Hometown = Watertown! B is for Breakfast= Cottage cheese with blueberries! ( no kidding, I am not copying your answer) F is for irrational fear=heights, closed in spaces ( claustrophobia, HELP!!) and dark basements.
