Working out always feels extra good when it’s for a good cause, doesn’t it?
This weekend we hosted the event at the Oak Square YMCA, and it was a success! Corpbasics founder Andrew Haynes, along with various Boston area Corpbasics instructors, lead a two-hour Master Class on Saturday to raise money for Reach Out. Reach Out is a program at the Y that raises money to send kids to camp and promotes family health and wellness. I love it!
The master class consisted of about 45 minutes of Cutz, about 20 minutes of floor core work, and we finished up with Kix. Different instructors took turns teaching different songs and/or routines. This was fun for people to have the chance to put names to faces and get a feel for all the different teachers.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of us all working hard, even on a beautiful sunny summer afternoon!

And you gotta love Liz for taking this goofy one of me! Of course I played along though.

Thank you to the FABULOUS instructors who volunteered their time and skills, and thanks to all the folks who came to work it out for a good cause!!! You were all wonderful!
When’s the last time you worked out for a good cause!?
