WOMEN’S HEALTH COACH

Work with a fitness and nutrition coach who gets it.

I’m Athena (yes, like the Greek goddess), and I do things differently.

Ever notice how the fitness industry seems to think women over 35 need to live at the gym and survive on chicken and broccoli to see results?

I'm here to flip that script.

After helping over 250 ambitious women transform their bodies and lives, I can tell you this: lasting change isn't about following someone else's rigid rules or turning your life upside down. It's about finding what works for your body, your schedule, and your life.

What you'll get with me:

  • Straight talk about what actually works (and what's trendy nonsense)

  • Permission to eat the foods you love (no "forbidden" lists here)

  • Workouts that leaving you feeling energized, not exhausted (you'll never hear me say "no pain, no gain!")

  • Strategies that stick, even when life gets messy

When your health suffers, everything else does too. It’s time to give your body what it needs to look and feel amazing now—and keep you feeling strong, thriving, and independent for decades to come.

I believe your health is so much more than just reps and calories.

True transformation is shaped by your habits, how you speak to yourself, and how you bounce back when life throws you curveballs.
Let’s talk about what’s possible with my balanced, sustainable approach:

✖︎ Stop second-guessing your choices.

If you’re constantly wondering if you’re doing “enough” or doing it “right,” I’ll help you break that cycle.

✔︎ Feel empowered as the expert of your body.

This isn’t about following a rigid program or doing what everyone else does; it’s about knowing what works for YOU.

✔︎ Create more balance (without burning out).

With the right plan, you’ll feel energized and capable, with more room in your life for everything else you love.

Body change isn’t just about working harder—it’s about working smarter, with a personalized plan that’s made for YOU. No icky gimmicks, I can promise you that.

My Commitment to Body Inclusivity and Equity

My team is committed to redefining what strength and health mean—far beyond the narrow, culturally-biased definitions we're bombarded with daily. Here, it's not about fitting into society's mold; it's about respecting your body and pursuing wellness on your terms, regardless of your background or identity.

We believe in fitness at any size and understand that your body shape and weight don't tell the whole story of your health—or, more importantly, who you are. Your clothing size is the least interesting thing about you. It doesn't reflect your intelligence, heart, compassion, humor, or work ethic. This is why we reject one-size-fits-all plans and toxic messaging that often marginalizes communities. We see you and want to know you as a whole person, not just a 'before-and-after'.

Our approach champions the power of "both/and": you can care about your weight and know your worth isn't tied to it. You can pursue changes for your health and confidence and still appreciate what your body is capable of. This inclusive perspective shapes everything we do, from welcoming language to accessible programs to the supportive, diverse community we've built.

In a world that privileges certain body types while excluding others, it's easy to get caught up in body comparison, shame, and self-doubt. But we're here to help navigate this, empowering everyone to challenge those norms with unapologetic badassery, while making fitness truly accessible for all.

With me, you get a true partner who cares deeply about you as a whole person and understands your health requires a flexible approach.

My relationship with fitness started in college after the classic "freshman fifteen." Like many women, I tried it all - from Jazzercise to endless cardio sessions. But something interesting happened when I discovered weight training in 2014 (thanks to a sprained ankle that forced me to pivot): I found strength I never knew I had, both physical and mental.

Here's the plot twist: as my strength grew, I realized how much diet culture had shaped my thinking. Despite never being a hardcore dieter (except for that one South Beach Diet attempt), I had absorbed all these "rules" about what women should and shouldn't do to be healthy.

The real breakthrough? When I started questioning these norms:

  • I stopped categorizing foods as "good" or "bad"

  • I began eating to support my workouts and energy (not just to be "good")

  • My body changed in ways I never expected - I actually went UP in scale weight while dropping from a size 6 to a size 2

  • The constant mental gymnastics around food and exercise? Gone.

These shifts are what led me to leave my safe 9-5 job to build a career helping women break free from restrictive cycles and find the same body changes, freedom, and strength.

Now, I’m here to help you lose weight, love what you see in the mirror, and fit into your jeans again—but more importantly, to feel confident, in control, and proud of your progress.

Being your coach isn't just about my certifications (though I've got those too). It's about understanding real life and helping you stay focused even when things get hard.

I firmly believe my own life experiences have made me a better coach:

  • Maintaining my own health while navigating unexpected loss (my sister in 2017)

  • Never falling off track while building my business, buying a house, and traveling

  • Recovering from two C-sections, healing diastasis recti, and managing postpartum depression (why I got certified in pre and postnatal fitness!)

  • Dealing with mold exposure, an unplanned surgery, and family challenges

When I say I’m a fitness and nutrition coach who gets it, I mean it.

Your health CAN stay a priority, no matter the season and no matter what big life transition you’re going through. I’m passionate about helping other women – especially moms – realize that.

Life ebbs and flows, but taking care of your body needs to remain steady. I’m here to keep you on track, make sure you stay a priority in your own life, and help you feel as amazing as possible through it all.

Do we have anything else in common?

  • I live in the Boston area, and yes, I’m as Virgo as they come.

  • I’m an Enneagram 6 (dependable, loyal, & analytic!) and love quality time (my love language) with my husband Tim and our kids, Mia and Nicholas.

  • I used to have a healthy living blog called Fitness + Feta.

  • My fitness career began by teaching Step + Sculpt and Butts + Guts classes in the basement of the Providence College recreation center (#GoFriars!)

  • Fun facts: I once came in second in a spelling bee (lost on "acreage"), broke my wrist on April Fool’s Day in 5th grade (my mom didn’t believe me), was part of a hot-dog eating contest in college (I ate 4 Spike’s hot dogs), and I don’t like olives (yes, even though I’m Greek).
